My academic background has been in law and in the world of finance. I hold a bachelor of arts degree in law.
But my interest in personal development and spirituality led to my becoming a counsellor.
I am an ordained interfaith minister. I trained on a two year programme with The Interfaith Seminary, a training programme for interfaith ministers and spiritual counsellors, who serve the needs of people of all faiths and none. I graduated in 2002.
I also hold a Certificate in Counselling Skills (person-centred counselling model.).
Professional standards and code of ethics
I am registered with The Association of Interfaith Ministers and Spiritual Counsellors (AIMS), and abide by its code of ethics. AIMS ensures that its members meet professional standards in their work as ministers or counsellors.
